What Are You Afraid Of?

When a difficulty or problem shows up, know that there's always a solution. Time is wise. You've heard the saying “give time to time.” It means: let it run its course, make room for the wisdom of life, and what feels unclear today will make sense with time — you'll understand why it happened, its causes and its effects. Everything returns to normal. Are you afraid of the bully? Remember that dogs bark, but most of them don't bite. Stay away from those who don't vibe with you, and give your time to hugging your friends, your parents, and everyone who makes you feel like the most special being on this planet. You are a being of light, and in your most tender moments, you'll discover who you are and what a wonderful gift you give the people who get to know you.

Are you afraid of someone's criticism? Think about the different points of view out there. The judgment and confidence behind your opinion are what matter most. Knowing that you're heard will help you let go of that feeling of fear.

Afraid of the dark? What could you do? Turn on a light or light a candle, follow the trail of the stars, or keep walking your path by the light of the moon.

The cookie monster doesn't scare you, does it? So many of our fears are just ideas — and realizing that they're only ideas we can change will bring out a big laugh once you uncover what's really behind the fear. Every human being has felt afraid of something, and do you know why? Because it's impossible to know everything. When we don't understand something, when we don't have enough information, or when something feels very different from what we're used to, we feel unsure, and fear comes knocking. My advice: when that feeling shows up, try to find its cause. Ask people who can help you understand the situation better.
